Since the 1990s Wilshire and Highland has been home to a convenient video game store. The first store, Game Mania, focused more on import. In 2005, Game Mania changed ownership and the name was changed to Next-Gen Video Games. After a brutal recession, the owners of Next Gen Video games decided to go out of business. However, before they closed their doors forever, new ownership stepped in and took over the failing business. Now Next-Gen Video Games is focusing on what is needed to give the gamers in our community the best possible store. The look of the store has been streamlined, and its focus has now been centered on two of the most aspects of a store.

Having a great selection of new and used video games, and having the best possible customer service with employees that know what they are talking about. At Next-Gen Video games, we are all about the games. We never pressure our gamers to purchase cards that are not needed, nor to reserve games we know we will have in stock day one. We also buy used videos games and typically give much more than our competitors. And, we price match competitor’s standard pricing.
